REC Institute of Power Management & Training (RECIPMT) is a Training Institute established at Hyderabad (India) in 1979 under the aegis of REC Limited, a Maharatna CPSU under Ministry of Power, Government of India.

Up to March 2023, the Institute has organized 3,119 training programmes and 68,641 Engineers/ Managers from various Power Utilities, like Generation, Transmission & Distribution Companies, Electricity Departments, Rural Electric Cooperatives, Regulatory Commissions, Rural Development Agencies, Banks, CPUs, etc., participated in the programmes.

Since 2005-06, RECIPMT has also organized 109 International Training Programmes under ITEC/SCAAP, sponsored by Ministry of External Affairs, GoI and trained 1839 International Power Sector Executives from around 102 countries.

RECIPMT is the nodal agency for coordination and implementation of the National Training Programmes for C&D Employees across the country, under Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gram Jyothi Yojana (DDUGJY) of Ministry of Power, GoI. RECIPMT coordinated training of 2,91,352 C&D category of employees of various DISCOMs during 2009-2022 throughout the Country. RECIPMT has also trained 41,016 power distribution franchisees during the 11th plan.
